Hello! Heres a mini very easy summary for those who still have questions about how battles will work during this event.
Some things to consider:
- For those who have battled before on rp probably know battles taking a long of time from hours to even days.
- The result of a battle or to decide who wins normally is decided during the battle depending on how things are going on. (when the players have no decided a winner before).
- People might log in and out or go into “lurk – brb (be right back) - afk (away for keyboard)” during the event (since events last several hours) leaving his/her battle partner waiting.
Considering all this the randomizer to decide the result of a battle. The event will take place in several locations/gyms . To prevent people for having incredibly long battles to decide the winner (platform has 8 gyms) the winner of the battle will be decided before that. Yes it might seem unfair, but the result will be completely random (by luck). Besides if your character has ended the battle we don’t want you to be waiting until the others to decided who the winner be(also we don’t want the event to last like 8 hours..otl). Other advantage is that in case a player has to leave during the event , the other person will know the result of the battle and he/she will be able to rp the result of the battle. By knowing the result of the battle you can just have your character have long or short battles depending on your mood. A lot of people have never battled before, this will be a good way to help them out if they are not familiar with battles.
We know some characters will have the advantaje in type (fire, rock, grass, etc). But remember even in real pokemon battles its posible to win even if your opponent has the advante in type.
About the battle system . .
In a chatroom theres 4 people: Member1, Member 2 , GangMember 1 and Gangmember2.
To prevent the whole “whos fighting who?” the battles will be decided via randomizer. Or in case you want to battle to a specific person you can ask (note plz).
Battle: Member1 vs GangM2 and Member2 vs GangM1.
The result will be given. So you can rp the battle the way you want as long as the result is as it was given.
During battles: Member 1 and Member 2 were defeated!
Oh no! , the gang members have defeated the members, with no people left defending the gym and only gang members standing the gym has been taken over. So the event moves to another stage/gym.

During battles: GangMember1 and GangMember2 were defeated!
Yay! The gang members have been defeated . This can happen in any gym since the results will be randomize. If the gang is defeated .. something will happen. (not gonna reveal the plot here folks ~ youll have to see for yourself).
