We all know its nice to have fun while role playing, but lately we've noticed that many characters don't fit in a world made of pure randomness, which is what seems to be happening constantly without much change in the last weeks. Characters need some background to have effective development as fictional beings.
So I beg you to reconsider how you play your characters in the chat. So much randomness makes it difficult for characters who are more serious to interact with the group leaving a lot of users feeling ignored and like outcasts.
We've created the Crack Chat for a reason and I highly suggest you use it if you want your character to be a magnet for random.

Follow the common rules that any chatroom/forum would have
Don't cause fights (this counts as fighting with other members out of character.)
KEEP THE RP ALIVE: Try to avoid start talking OOC (out of character) too much, it distracts and kills the RP. For that use the Main Chat.
NO PUBLICITY of another RP groups at the Role Play chat, use the Main Chat for that.
NO MULTI CHARACTER (means that you can not transform your character into another, unless you are Ditto or Zoroak. This also includes genderbent characters, older characters, etc. All "___!characters" are not allowed unless there is an event or pressing reason.
YOU CAN BATTLE! Just please, be aware, no killing or unnecessary force. And also, no points will be rewarded for these battles.
Use the tab key when speaking with any Admins [gym leaders, elite4, ect.]
- this is also a good idea when speaking with one person, because it highlights their username for them.

Svitlo: .....er-----who are you?.....(Your pokemon doesn't know everybody unless they have a friend that told something about them, but try to keep this sharp, your pokemon can't see it all. This applies to the common doing as what they did last night RP in which your pokemon wasn't )
You can play as NPCs, but they can not be played independantly and you must play as your character as well. These are not second characters. NPCs are people like shop keepers, waitresses, nurses, etc. Also, if your Gijinka lives with a relative, then you may play them as an NPC while at home. But just remember to not let them become second characters, because that is not what they are. Any NPCs played should have "(NPC)" in bold after their name, just so everyone knows. NPCs are only residents of PP and must be within the rules of PP. They are not to directly effect the events transpiring in the RP and should be used minimally. Again, they are not to be a large part in the RP, as that makes them second characters. They are only to be used when it is necessary, as like a waitress coming to take your order. If an NPC does something to change the flow of the RP or effect it, then it's against the rules. Like if an NPC hits a character. Also, you're not allowed to have a separate RP with an NPC all by yourself that is in depth. You should be RPing with others, not yourself.
No sexualy explicit actions and conversation both in character and OOC. If you are going to do any more than simple kissing, please take it somewhere other than the PP chats. It is against DA policy to have sexually explicit content in chats, and also it's respectful to other members who may not want to read it.

Now yes, the crack chat is supposed to be a place where you can RP without being restricted by the rules of the regular PP RP, but there is one rule that must be put in place.
NO SEXUALLY EXPLICIT CONTENT IS ALLOWED. Now this is not us trying to be fun killers, or suppressing your ability to RP. This is supposed to be a place where no rules apply. Well, even if PP rules do not apply, DA rules still do. And we aren't just making this up:[link]
This is the one rule that we are going to enforce very strictly in all chats. If the DA admins see that there is sexually explicit content in one of the chats, they will close it. And we don't want that to happen.
Please take any sort of actions that fall under this category to an instant messenger or some sort or another way of communication, but it is not to be in the chats.
Also realize that explicit sexual content can make people uncomfortable, as well as we have many younger members, so please, think of everyone else in the chat. Not everyone wants to read about that sort of behavior. This is not a sex chat, this is a crack chat. Please realize this.
