Winter Events - NPC

Nicholi (Nick-o-lie) - Delibird
Nyla's helper, a sweet little girl with a peppy personality. She enjoys the fstive time of year and gets annoyed at anybody who is unhappy or not with the christmas spirit. Eternally loyal to Nyla she follows the queen whereever she goes, doing whatever she asks. At this time of year, Nichi(Nicki) is tasked with handing out the gifts that the people have wished for, like the right little santa she skips around with merry christmas on her lips and a happy flame a light in her heart.

Nyla( Nigh-la) - Walrein
The Winter Queen. A kind and caring woman from a far region, she ruled a country slowly growing colder and colder by each passing year. She was beloved by the people she ruled, for she was kind and gracious always trying her best to please them. Every year her country got colder, she tried even harder to make their Christmases even happier. Nyla would invite each person to come into her castle and eat from her table and drink from her glasses, whilst they were there they could request one thing from her and she would make this come true as best she could. With each passing year more and more people moved away until eventually her land was empty, she was left all on her own bar her assistant Nicholi but the queen did not lose heart nor joy. If she had no people left to invite into her home she would travel the globe travelling to towns and cities, kingdoms and villages granting the people what they asked for. For nothing pleased the queen more than the smiling faces of people at christmas time.
If you are lucky when the snow falls upon the ground and the land is coated in white. When bells ring and carols and sung to the heavens. That is the time for joy and happiness and there is one Woman who wishes this beyond all others. The fabled Winter queen, a queen who wants only happiness and the joy of all people. She travels the world granting people's wishes with her assistant Delibird, who hands out the gifts that are wished for. Those who are around the Queen Nyla try their best to be happy, for all know the tale of the winter queen and all those look up on her face would never wish a frown or tears to cross it. This year, Her chariot rides for the Platform. Nicholi has already come ahead and decorated the island with bells and baubles, streamers and tinsle, occansionally you can even see her darting about the towns putting up posters and other hints of Nyla's arrival.

CONTEST: Build a Snowman
Its snowing at the island ~ Here's a fun activity … build a snowman!
Youll be given a list of materials to be used on your snowman, other materials are not permitted and you'll be disqualified . (You don’t have to use all the items at the list).

EVENT: Winter Ball

On the Eve of the final celebrations a great Winter ball is held in order to thank the winter queen for the gifts she has given and will continue to give. This ball is to be held on the Silver plains, a place that already sparkles but on this night, its beauty shall be seen from space. Over the nights of the events Helpers have been setting a great stage, Lights line the plains, great sparkling balls of flame encased in elaborate chandeliers. A dance floor has been layed down and dusted with snow and glitter, there is food and all the festive spirit you could ever need. At this Ball the King and Queen will be annouced, along with the Prince and Princess. If you are lucky, The great winter queen herself might even make an appearance to crown them..

EVENT: Winter Queen and King nominations

During the ball, a Winter Queen and a Winter King will be crowned. But first nominations will be held, you can choose who you think is best to win Winter Queen and Winter King.

- How this works: Send a note to ~PPMail under the name “Winter Nomination” or “Queen/King Candidates” in this note you must include the names who you think is best for the titles. Its important that you add the characters name and pokemon and if possible the name of the creator (so we can prevent any confusion and know who is the character).
- About nominations: You can nominate people from the same gender, and from any age. Theres not a requirement needed so it does not mather if you’re a new member. You can only send 1 note and only 1 person for queen and 1 person for king… so choose wisely ~ (you wont be able to chance your votes after you send the note).

EVENT: Winter Princess and Prince - Invite a Date to the ball.
If you don’t think youll be elected for Winter Queen/King then you can still try out for Winter Princess and Prince! ~ You'll be able to take a date to the ball. Wich means your character will need to ask someone to go with him/her , and both of you'll will try your best to win the titles!

- How this works: First you'll need to ask someone to go with your character, you'll need to send a note to ~PPMail under the name “Winter Princess/Prince” or “Inviting someone to the ball” informing us you will be participating and let us know who's going to be with you during the events.
- About dates: The date has not need to be your characters boyfriend/girlfriend/crush. You can go with a friend . Theres no age or gender limit. So if you're not comfortable you can go with a group of friends in a pair number (for example 2 pairs going in a group of 4).
-How to win: Winter Princess and Prince will be choosen by how well your character interacts during the event (like an invisible point system). After you send the note, we will be checking on how you and your date participate or behave during the events.

Heres some things you can do:
- Collab : do a collaboration or exchanging drawing with the other person, this will increase your chances of winning (team work).
- Paticipation: there will be many events during the winter festival, you can participate on them to win points or just rp your character interacting with its date during the event. (being online but lurking the whole event does not count as participating).
- Spirit: You can have your character share the holiday spirit . Remember the point of this event is to bring happiness… not to make others sad or uncomfortable.

PP's List of Past Events!

This is a list of the past events that took place at the Platform. We know that not many characters are mentioned here, but that's because this is just a short summary for new members or people that just missed it.


The War for Existence Arch or Legendaries Arch 


1- The Rain event: Kyogre hits PP Island with a storm. A large group of people goes to the Mysterious Island to encounter the whale. Emris looses his memory of Aletha in the process as a sacrifice to save everyone. 


2- The lost exit: Aideen, Rollo and Luminei get trapped by Mewtwo at the Abandoned Factory. The creature erases their memory of the encounter.


3- The exchange: Meeting Kyogre again Luminei exchanges her mother’s memory for Emris’s memory. She has his memory on her locket. The legendary of the sea says that everything’s settled for now and Phione makes an entrance.


4- The Aurora Borealis: The forest is visited by strange stream of lights and light bubbles. Shield Necklaces are delivered to the people of the island except for the Leaders and the Elite 4.


5- The Secret of the Silver Lady: Turns out that the one giving the protection necklaces is Cresselia, the moon and dreams legendary. Mew appears to be helping her holding base at the Wishing Waterfalls, because she is week from a battle. She tells everyone that something is coming for them, but she can’t predict what exactly, mentioning something about the Earth Masters (Rayquaza, Groudon and Kyogre).


6- Mt. Valor of Doom: A party goes to the volcano to ask Groudon what’s going on, but it turns out that Heatran is taking care of the place while the Earth guardian is out, but it seems to have information about what’s going on. He asks for Adamant Orbs or so called “Silver” and promises to deliver the information after the trade is made. Later at the wastelands some explosions take place and the burnt town is set on fire again.


7- In Search for the Orbs: Quest to get the Adamant Orbs for Heatran. Completed at the Mysterious island.


8- The nightmare of the puppets: Darkrai attacks everyone with nightmares and hallucinations. Venila, Adail and Steevi get kidnapped. An expedition at the Mysterious Island now called Morphis Island is made to rescue the three victims, ending with the liberation of them along with the dimension trio Giratina, Palkia and Dialga. When everybody is free Giratina takes Darkrai out of Alastor and Xerox’s bodies, starting a fight in it’s own dimension, the reverse world. Many meet Cresselia and the Wishing waterfalls are open to everyone. There is a lake inside a cavern at the falls, and its water has healing properties.


9- The arrival: Times of peace at PP. Newcomers arrive at the platform and Mew goes around the island giving necklaces to those who don’t have one.
